"Omusubino-GABA" Rice Ball Shop to Open in Tokyo this Spring

Aims to build awareness of GABA rice

 Satake will open a handmade rice ball shop called “ Omusubino-GABA” in Tokyo next spring. The shop will use Rinse-Free GABA Rice in its products.

Satake is contributing to the enhancement of human health, based on its principle of "Improving human health through rice", by developing GABA Rice, and Satake would like as many people as possible to enjoy its benefit.

As part of this effort, the first “Omusubino-GABA” opened in Saijo, Higashi-Hiroshima in December 2011 to promote and spread awareness of GABA rice. Next spring, a second “Omusubino-GABA” will open in Tokyo on the 1F of Satake's Tokyo Head Office (4-7-2, Sotokanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

The second shop will provide a variety GABA rice balls and side dishes for take-out or eat-in. The new shop will be important for promoting the benefits of GABA rice and a source of good healthful good foods.

Satake also desires to open an "Omusubino-GABA" and promote a series of rice processing machinery overseas, to improve global taste and healthfulness of rice.
